Skåne University Hospital is a large university hospital affiliated with Lund University serving a population of 1.5 million in southern Sweden. It hosts both regional and national clinical and research centres and resources. The Department of Neurology diagnoses and treats all types of neurological disorders in both emergency and outpatient settings. Our department’s clinical trial unit runs drug trials on MND/ALS since 2022. Academic research within MND/ALS is performed in collaboration with the Department of Memory disorders within the fields of biomarkers and FTD.
