The highway towards a cure
TRICALS is a network of top ALS research centres across Europe
View all centresAbout TRICALS
TRICALS (Treatment Research Initiative to Cure ALS) is the largest European research initiative to find a cure for ALS. TRICALS brings together top ALS (research) centres across Europe with pharmaceutical companies and ALS patients. By working together, we accelerate clinical drug development.
By forming a network of well-equipped ALS centres with clinical trial experience and trained staff, we ensure high quality performance of clinical trials.
TRICALS Centres
TRICALS is a network of more than 60 centres all over Europe. We all work together on one common goal: finding a cure for ALS. All TRICALS centres are experienced in clinical trials and have dedicated staff. Find (other) ALS centres near you to see which clinical trials are currently taking place.
Moving forward
"I hope TRICALS will develop the ability to segment ALS into subgroups so that therapies can be developed that will target individual subgroups. Encouraging more research and creating a better response going forward."

INARC
The International Network for ALS Research and Care (INARC) is a network of nurses, study coordinators and other professionals (other than physicians) involved in ALS clinical research or care. The aim of the network is to connect members and to create a platform to exchange skills and expertise.
TRICALS works together
"TRICALS thinks ahead and crosses boarders. They include all people that are involved with ALS: ALS researchers, doctors, companies, but most of all, patients. If we don't work together, we won't make any progress."
