Daniel Sánchez-Tejerina, MD

I graduated in Medicine at the University of Valladolid and specialised in Neurology at the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid. I completed my training with a three-month fellowship at the Movement Disorders Unit of Columbia University Medical Center in New York, USA. I am currently doing specific training in Neuromuscular diseases with care and research tasks in clinical trials in this field, as a specialist physician in the Neuromuscular Diseases Unit of the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona. My interest in the field of clinical research has led me to complement my training by currently completing a Diploma in Statistics in Health Sciences, within the continuing education programme of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.  Finally, I havecombined my clinical training with research activity, with two international publications as first author. I am currently undertaking a doctoral research project on biomarkers in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
