We are a supra-regional, highly specialized MND center including diagnosis and care of all kinds of MND and all stages of MND. We are participating in national and international cohorts, drug studies, studies with clinical questions and basic scientific studies.

TRICALS aims to improve clinical research to finding a cure for ALS. We are conducting a survey among industry partners to assess how the design and operational aspects can be optimized, thereby making clinical trials in ALS more efficient, more cost-effective, and of higher quality.

One year ago TRICALS launched the educational platform ‘The TRICALS Academy’.

Last month marked a significant moment for the TRICALS Academy, as the first live training of the newly developed ‘electrophysiological assessments’ course took place. ALS professionals from all over the world gathered in the UMC Utrecht, to learn the ins and outs of assessing motor functioning.

The Lighthouse II study finished recruiting. With currently 419 participants in the study, the study exceeded their goal of including 390 participants with ALS.
