Blaž Koritnik

Blaž Koritnik is a consultant neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. He is the head of the Institute of Clinical Neurophysiology at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana. He qualified at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana in 1999. He trained in neurology at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana (2000-2009) and was an honorary researcher at King’s College London (2005-2007). He finished his PhD exploring cortical motor mechanisms in ALS under the supervision of Prof. Janez Zidar and Prof. Nigel Leigh. He is a member of the European Academy of Neurology Scientific Panel ALS and frontotemporal dementia and of the Executive Committee of the European Network to Cure ALS (ENCALS).
