Prof. PD Dr. Hakan CETIN, DPhil

After completing his residency in Neurology at the Medical University of Vienna in 2014, where he specialised in neuromuscular disorders, Hakan Cetin pursued his PhD at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Professors Angela Vincent and David Beeson. Upon his return to Austria in 2018, he established and has since led the ALS Clinic at the Department of Neurology of the Medical University of Vienna, providing comprehensive interdisciplinary care for patients with ALS. He currently heads a research group with a focus on the translational aspects of ALS, bridging basic science and clinical research.
