Ilaria Martinelli, dr.

Dr Martinelli’s main research interests are Motor Neuron Diseases, including ALS and Spinal Bulbar Muscolar Atrophy (SBMA). She actively participated in several collaborative clinical projects, focusing on clinical follow up of patients with ALS and SBMA along with the evaluation of outcome measures and the validation of possible specific biomarkers able to improve the clinical assessment and prognosis. She took part in genetic studies and biomarkers studies in ALS, and she participated in several clinical trials in patients with ALS, SBMA and other neuromuscular disorders.
